Charaen isn't anti-Catholic, nor are most of the thousands who feel outraged about this. There IS a big difference between what the Catholic church has done, as an entity, that makes them different from other religions.
They have admitted during this trial, that they have used their power to move priests from the areas they could have been charged, and used their power as a sanctuary to protect their priesthood.
They have admitted to doing this MANY times. The priest this is all about is a REPEAT offender, and the church has known about it. They use their power to "absolve" him, and then moved him to another community.
They've done this before. and they will continue to do it, as long as people let them.
