Ripon's really nice (at least as far as I remember it, but hey you'll know better than I). Haven't been there in a long while though!
I'm originally from Leeds, but I'm now living with my partner in a small village in the middle of the North Yorkshire country side (closest town is Selby). Greenery as far as the eye can see...ah, the country life! After growing up in Leeds and studying in Bradford (where I met Sal) we both decided to try the quiet, peaceful lifestyle for a while, not to mention you can get LOADS more for your money out where we are (although the prices have rocketed recently, just 1 year after we moved here and our house has gained around £20-£30k in value
, so it's a good job we took the plunge when we could!)
