Ok, I'm sure someone's already posted it but i haven't seen it listed here.
If you sue spells ring of fire resist, dragon helm etc to boost your fire resist over 100% (127% is max) you will actually get healed by any fire attack, whether it be red dragon breath or floor tiles that drop flamestrike on you (shadow temple) or something as simple as a fireball spell, you only get partial hp's back (27% of the dam it would have caused, or whatever % over 100 you are at)
