It dosen't matter much that you killed Thalytar (sp), unless you wanted to buy anything off him again.
As for party make up, and i'm guessing your good-alinged, Minsc and Dynaheir are a good team, imoen as well if you dual her.
Jaheria is close to useless, druid spells arent really that great in BG1 anyway, so by dropping her you wouldent lose much. Instead i would pick up Kivan, (in High hedge area) Because he's excellent with a bow (killed Seravok by himself!
)
Also, Branwen is pretty....um... crap. Instead i would pick up Yeslick (fighter/cleric) He can tank pretty good and cast just as well as branwen. (Though you cn only get him in Chapter 4, so till then i'd lug her about for a while)
