When you start the game say you want to play multiplayer, and not single. Then create a new game with yourself as the only player on the server. You will start up a new game, and once you save it, will have the option of adding in imported characters of your own design.
The call for themed parties started me off to just that... a party of all elven women, plus one little halfing guy as the protagonist so I can get some romance going.
The question is, which NPC to add to the fold? Vic.. Jah.. Arie...
