This may surprise you Adam but I bought DarkStone to tide me over 'till Diablo 2. Considering that it came out three years earlier I reckon it did a pretty good job. It's a great simple game (untill you start messing around with the quest editor (from Delphinesoft's website). However, it also includes skinning potential and is generally fun (even if no one wants to go multi player with me)
