Baldurdash has various "patches" for game bugs. My Jaheira romance has stopped and she hasn't spoken to me for about two months yet I know the romance is still active because the Global variables haven't changed. Apparently there are a few bugs associated with Jaheira & co' that the Baldurdash site has fixes for. I never tried any personally but here's the link anyway:
