There is the store by the druid, there is the blacksmith, the alchemist, than the tavern, the monk and cleric order and the Inn. I can't find anyone in there that sells magic scrolls.

[/QUOTE]From the place you enter the town in the west go north you'll get to Orricks tower (check map in the manual). The path is difficult to see because of the tree roots. Orricks items change as the game progresses so be sure to visit regularly. If youre already late in the game you mightve missed one nice item or two.
The locked place can only be opened if you have the HoW expansion.
