Thanks for the info, Larry! I'll have to look into that, since sometimes (rare, but it does happen) I seem to get acid reflux regardless of what I eat. This is especially true if my allergies are acting up (i.e. high allergens in the air).

Oh, I believe you, RevRuby. I seem to be getting all of my mother's allergies all within a few years. She also stated that she really did not get bad allergies until her late 20s to early 30s, which is around my age. Thus, I've probably always had the problem, but with age it has just been "triggered".
