Sometimes if I say something particularly profound or witty (to my mind
) it's disappointing if no one ever posts again, but I wouldn't say I interpret it to mean that I am universally despised and am worthless
I have to say it's annoying when I (or someone else) posts something worthwhile to a thread and it is ignored while others around the post just post spam and crap.
