I just got Wizardry Gold and after running around in circles for some time I encountered a problem:
Some text messages are just visible for an instant. Sometimes a whole dialogue scrolls up and I haven't found a way to make the lines last long enough to read them. This happens sometimes in combat and especially when NPCs tell me to remember something.
On other occasions like those messages you get when entering certain tiles, the text stayes fixed until I press a button.
I have already set text and combat delay settings to maximum but they don't seem to have any effect.
Does anyone know a way to slow down the text messages to a readable speed?
