The Bag of Holding may be the underdog Most Valuable Item in BG2.

It really becomes valuable when you're in the Underdark and you start finding that Drow Full Plate +5. You'll want to stow your tank's regular armor in the Bag of Holding and put on the +5 plate while you remain in the Underdark!!! It's great to be able to store a few hundred pounds of armor the Bag of Holding.
