Desuma, after a moment's thought, follows Killing Spree out into the night. Coming upon the pair she speaks.
"Please forgive my intrusion, but I feel I must apologize to both of you. Deiter, you had me sick with worry, and I spoke in the heat of the moment. Of course I won't dock your pay - I was not aware of all the facts and besides, it's only coin. KS, I'm sorry, I should have suspected a trap. My blundering stupidity was unforgivable. We may not be a clan, but that doesn't mean we're not friends - I should have been at your side. At any rate, I'll leave you two alone, I must get back to the defense."
