Sorry, I just got to Shurugeon, so I don't know the answer for you, but I noticed the game time thing. I thought maybe it was my imagination at first until I read your post. I left the game paused for a couple of hours one time, and I'm pretty sure when I came back and unpaused, it was suddenly night time, where it the middle of the day when I paused. I wonder if they somehow use your computer's time to determine game time.
