Well the kids and I cut out our pumpkins last night which is a fun family tradition. My wife's family never cut out pumpkins-- ever! Her first time was when we just started dating.
Now since my daughter is old enough to go out on her own with her large number of friends (she is very responsible) I'll just escort my young son and his friend around. I love this time of the year, but it was a whole lot safe when I went as a kid. No parental escort was ever needed and man did we ever cover the neighborhoods! Talk about candy!!!
