Assuming you keep your characters as is, here are some suggestions:

1. Keep in mind that mages can only cast spells of the level of INT-10, so this guy will be restricted to level 3 spells. slapping of 5 levels of mage would work. Be sure to take the expertise feat!

2. Like Jerry said, 4 levels of fighter gives him specialization. Go with greataxes. Also, if you choose a cleric that can be lawful good, you could make a paladin2/cleric MC for use of the CS and extra wisdom and strength.

3. I don't know much about the ratio for this, other than you want to have at least 11 levels of bard for the war chant. Crossbows are the way to go, due to a pretty nice rogue-only crossbow later in the game.

4. Not much to do with a mage unless you powergame his stats, which I see you haven't done. I'd keep him as a single class generic mage, since as your sole spellcaster you want him to be casting any spell in the game. Take a sorcerer if you want more devastation, but expect to find yourself without the "right" spell at key battles.

Good luck!
