The War Chant is obtained, IIRC, at level 11. I'm currently running a bard, and had intended to switch him to sorcerer when I got the War Chant, but at level 7 he's surely carrying his own weight. He can fight in a pinch, sing while doing anything (lingering song exploit [img]tongue.gif[/img] ), cast, and theif. I may wind up keeping him single class, which is saying a lot considering my play style
