Hmmm...I prefer the following:

Berserker/Thief stealthed...sneaks up behind Lich with Daystar (18/96 STR and Grand Mastery in Longsword). Backstab Lich for quadruple damage (typically around 60 points of damage). If still moving, quickly cast Sunray with Daystar before he can get off a Timestop. Bye-bye Lichee...
