Questioner +4. a parry dirk.
a dirk is a long, thick bladed dagger intended to be used in place of a shield, allowing a second strike from an edged weapon while not compromising armour class against melee attack. this one is the sister to the answerer +4, and is enchanted to only slightly less a degree.
Equipped ability gives a AC bonus of 3 against all but missle weapons.
Each hit lowers opponents' Magic Resistance by 7%
Each hit applies a penalty of -1 to opponents' AC
Ac bonus: +3 against melee weaponry
THACO: +4 bonus
Damage: 1D6 +4
Damage type: slashing
Weight: 2
Speed Factor: 9
Proficiency Type: Long Sword
Type: 1-handed
Requires: 3 Strength

as you see, most abilities are half that of the longsword. i also added an ac bonus to all but missle weapons, so that it takes the place of a shield, as a parry dirk, or main-gauche should. it uses the same icon, and proficiency, so you dont need to use/waste shortsword proficiencys.
