I'm running aparty of 4 hybreds Sam/Valk/Monk/Nij. for the first time.
I have to admit this is the toughest game I have had. Running without a pure
magic user is tough! My guys wereat L11 and had just finished wiping out the
Rat Breeders. The only way I could get out of there was by using a canned
elemental and hidding behind it and kept throwing heals and stamina at it
to keep it going. must killed 8 rat goons halh a dosen rat snipers and
9 wasps. hate those goons my guys could never hit them. after that I went back
to arnika and sold off my goods. got about 50k and decided to go see Bela for
some GOOD items and maybe slip down to the waterfall. Got to the Mountant
wilderness with only minor difficulties. But no way could I get to Bela every
time I tried I ran into Acid snakes and they kicked my butt. So I slipped
down to the waterfalls and only had to kill 2 fire ants 2 L10 scorchers and
6 flying snakes. I just get recovered and the Granite Golom comes up with 2
more scorcheres and 3 fire ants... I ran for the waterfalls and got luckey
the golom and the scorchers retread as I got to the falls. Finished off the
fire ants and collected the bootty!! but before I could get out the golom
attacked by itself. Managed to kill it then the scorchers came back and I killed
them. Then I finally got a chances to rest!! I tried a dozen or so tries to go
back up the path but there were 3 parties of air sprites and one of them would
kick my butt! So I made a desperate run to the other exit only stoping to kill
the Rapax in the cave with the temple guys. Made it to and thur the southern
wilderness only big problem was 5 sea sprites. they killed 2 guys (monk and
ninja) but I had reserect for them. Now every one is at Level 12 and sitting at
crocks!! What a trip!! Just remember that a level 12 hybred has the magic
ablities of a L7 or less pure magic user and your going up against L10 to 15
monstahs (as we say here in Maine) I finaly have all the defensive buffs!!
if you have tried this type of party you should give it a whirl!!
