Football is AFL, Rugby league & Rugby Union.
What a strange world you must live in where the three sports you call football are all played primaily with the hands. Shouldn't they be called "handball"?
hand ball (as i was taught, we also call it wall ball) involves a hand, a wall and a ball. football (american) contains no walls IIRC and there for cannot be hand ball.
Handball is an Olympic sport which involves a court, a net (like water polo) and similar play to basketball. It's like a combination between water polo (on land) and basketball, and football (except they use their hands and not their feet)

No wall, yet the term is officially "handball". What you're calling handball is "court handball" or something. Wallball?
