DIdn't have this happen to me but I think this is a condition that can be cured at the temple. Of course you still have to get through the rest of this area to be able to get back to the temple.
Do you have a save from just before the big fight? Maybe you could refight it and see if you fair better the second time around? I found that having haste and any other protective spell available already on and rushing the naga - getting in real close - seemed to prevent her from being able to make as many attacks. My long distance attempts at doing her in were - well written in blood - our's. ;/
