I have heard that if you choose average settings in the setup, you can avoid alot of theese troubles, though I have never tried it. Playing the game made be closed to crying every time.. I really enjoyed IWD´s mindless hack´n slash every now and then.. *sniffle*

Wolfie, I have the GeForce II MX, I have an Athlon (1 GHz) and IWD didn't have any problems here
I never played IWD with the expansion.
Giant, Citizen Kabuto , is a nice, with reasonable graphics, kinda game, has totally no story
but is fun to play once in a while, there is humor in it though (with the Mercs)!!!!
