DS, it sounds like you're making smart moves. If you can't get more counselling at school, though, check for other alternatives... agencies and such. And though it may be hard, consider even checking with your parents. They should be willing to foot the bill for counselling sessions and such, although they may want to exert some control.
And yes, I do remember what it was like to escape from home and never want to go back to living under *their* control. I did find out later that they really cared, in their own strange and twisted ways. Some more twisted than others... and occasionally not the way I wanted to be cared for.
If they're part of the problem, though, that might be a different story. See? This is why knowing the *whole* story is so important, and why it's hard to diagnose/support/etc from afar.
