No, I was very careful not to kill anyone necessary (besides, I well written game should always take that kind of possibility into account and provide an alternative). However, it is possible that it's not midnight yet and if I just stand around for an hour and listen to my party complain about how we should be making better use of our time for a while that they'll show up.
