I'm here to annoy Vaskez... or was it the other way round?
What I like best about the internet is honestly, seriously, the loads of information at your fingertips, no really I do mean the information! I can look up when my train goes, how to get to the city centre, etc. Before the Internet, that took much more planning - now I can just check a few minutes before I have to leave. There's always plenty of information to be found when I'm looking for stuff for my essays (like the brilliant site of The Modern Word) and when I've been trying to remember what movie it was again that had such and such characters in it, I just look it up. I love that.
Apart from that I just use the internet to keep in touch with a handful of good friends, both friends that I met online and ones that I knew before and just chat with because it's cheaper than calling them on the phone.
