I'm currently listenening to his latest album "Dear Heather"

Fanbloodytastic (pardon the tmesis!)

I haven't listened to any of his songs since Jennifer Warnes covered many of them in the 80's on "Famous Blue Raincoat"

Fantastic lyrics - the first track "We'll go no more a rovin" could almost be a poem!

So we’ll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart be still as loving,
And the moon be still as bright.
For the sword outwears its sheath,
And the soul outwears the breast,
And the heart must pause to breathe,
And love itself have rest.
Though the night was made for loving,
And the day returns too soon,
Yet we’ll go no more a-roving
By the light of the moon.

The title track "Dear Heather" is brilliant and I make no excuse for posting the complete lyrics:

Dear Heather
Please walk by me again
With a drink in your hand
And your legs all white
From the winter

He's now over 70 years old and this album has a feeling of farewell about it - let's hope not.
