if i were a wandering breeze
would you pay me heed

would you note my caress upon your face
and how i gently put your hair out of place?

would you breathe deep the spring time scent i carry
and the song of birds ringing clearly?

would you stop and hold a moment dear
a moment of peace crystal clear?

would you try to fllow me as i wander past
wishing for our moment to last?

would you climb atop the tallest of trees
and listen as i play in the leaves?

would you call my name with passion when i falter
hold my hand and encourage me further?

would you watch as i dance with the clouds in the sky
wonder at the beauty seen by your mortal eye?

would you delight at the butterflies i hold aloft
take joy in the magic i have wrought?
