The last time it rebooted, the side of the computer was wide open, so that's about as temperature friendly as I can imagine.
I haven't added anything in that would cause IRQ conflicts in at least a month... and that was a new vid card.
And that new vid card doesn't have a fan, so there's no point in disabling it [img]smile.gif[/img] Although I could rip off the heat sink... naaaaahhhhh....
My wife just rebooted, and it started making noises again. I just narrowed the source of the noise down to the power supply (sound, and moving the supply slightly changed the sound), so I'll be replacing it with a new one shortly.
Discovered at lunch that my favorite local PC supply store is closing up shop. Bummer! Well, at least I can be a good vulture and pick up whatever bargains are there. I've been looking for a new machine...
