A gnome Cleric/Illusionist is looking better all the time
Advantages: Robe of Vecna + Amulet of Power = quick casting of Heal, which the author says takes too long; get to be an Illusionist but still case some good Necromancy (i.e. Animate Dead); earlier access to all the fun high-level abilities; high Wisdom for casting Wish (but capped at 17 I think? --- oh well there's an Ioun stone which will fix that right?).
