Maybe your ISP gives some web space. I'd try that first cause you won't have ads or spyware in it guaranteed. As picture host Lycos is ok for a site it has way too many ads.
www.freewebs.com looks good as well. It doesn't have an ftp account so you have to upload everything via webftp which is quite annoying if you have a large site.
edit: hmm freewebs seems to be down. Don't know if it's for long or just some technical issues
