I always enjoy the roleplaying side of these games rather than the slugfest side and without doubt the roleplaying aspect of the rogue, with hide from sight and backstab criticals, is great fun. Has anyone else tried to run a pure rogue (no fighter) build before in undermountain? If so post your problems or tips.

I notice that level 12 is almost impossible to roleplay with too many of the cult characters having 'true seeing' resulting in a straight foreword sword fight all the way through. Any thoughts on this issue relevant to the Undermountain mod? Other questions...

1)A dex or strength based rogue mix, which do you prefer?

2)What is the best armor / equipment set up?

3)Armor with 8 max dex bonus or with unlimited bonus?

4)The best rogue weapon(s) in the game?

5)If not a pure rogue what do you put into the mix and at what ratio?

6)What does a level 40 rogue have in attack bonus and is it enough for say the drow proving grounds?
