Why don't scrolls (of the same type) stack? And mana potions and things like poison and fire bombs. My inventory fills up too fast. And trying to "Use/Give" an item in a hurry when you have lots of scrolls is a pain. I also wish there were containers, like sacks, to put small things in, again to free up inventory space. And why do robes, which you could conceivably fold up, take up more space than plate mail?
