I'm not sure whether its a service I've disabled on my computer or if the university network is blocking me from sending them out. Sorry!
A tracert from dnsstuff.com gets as far as bb1-dls-P2-0.atdn.net. and then says "4 hops with no response; assuming we hit a firewall that blocks pings"
