Well its a only a hundred years today since the Wright brothers thought that walking was not good enough. And to think I’ve been working in the Aviation industry for nearly a quarter of that time!! [img]graemlins/heee.gif[/img] gee I feel old now
The jumbo jet *747* first flight was back in 69 and even the first supersonic airliners are now retired. Maybe Aviations glory years are behind it, but what an effect the invention has had on the world.
Do we have any aviation fans, pilots, industry workers on the board with stories to tell or just the odd comment? Has anybodys lives been truly affected by Aviation? What was your first flight and what plane was it in?
