Unless you are given a definite time limit (like 'in three days', 'right away' or something similar, though not all 'right away's' are serious, you can take all the time you want. NPC related quests can also have a time limit, but they will remind you long before they become desperate enough to leave the party.
Yes I meant after 50 days of her approaching you she won't be there anymore.
