Naw, it's okay, ya crazy bugger...yeah...an American over 60 WILL probably think that those words are profanity...these are the people that thought that the Beatles were pushing the envelope of societal acceptance, dude...
Of course, they WERE...but I digress...what I should have said was that even people from the SAME culture view the meanings of words entirely differently, as you have nicely illustrated (after all...I have no problem with the saying "hell yeah" or "damn it")...
