I guess I am the only one who thinks Imoen is OK. I couldn't stand Edwin, I've now killed him in BG1 and 2! I guess I just like playing the classic "good" party. I tried playing BG1 as an evil party, and it is SOOOO much work fighting everyone and their brother off! As far as the Slayer ability... Well, let me just say, I spent a LOT of gold at the Temple to get my reputation up to normal after using that ability to Whomp on some poor sods in the Underdark! The fight was immensely easy as the Slayer, but my rep went from 20 down to 1! I think BG2's replay value is immense. I played BG1 3 times, and I'm sure I'll go through 2 at least 5 times, just to try an evil party, try out a couple of the other character classes and races, etc...
