Aerie better than Anomen? (Sir) Anomen with the gauntlets of Dex makes him awesome with the sling, and you need those high level cleric spells. Nalia is all the thief you'll ever need, but Yoshimo then Imoen works better if you're a spellcaster. And don't worry about the traitor thing; you'll reach your exp cap around the time of getting out of Underdark, so wasted exp points aren't something you have to worry about. Its fun to do ch. 3 with five characters so you can always take in drips like Aerie, Cernd and Mazzy for their quests.
