Default Re: Economy

ROTFLMAO, Like I said they would be a deal, gold dropped like I said. In this deal there are NO ZERO NADA cuts in the budget, only cuts in the rate of increase for future spending. In simple terms instead of increasing the spenidng 7% each year they are going to increase the Spending only 6.9%... Gold prices will once again increase as soon as the fly by night scaredy cat buyers get out, and people realize that this "Compromise BS" isn't going to solve the problem, and our credit rating is downgraded. Moody's and S&P threatened downgrade sure as Hale wasn't because there was any doubt about a default over a lack of debt increase, but rather the unsustainable spending increases. The nations economy grew less then .5% in the first quater, around 1.5% since 2008 but spending has gone up 7%-7.5% each year (not including the non stimulis Stimulis).

Compromise is what has gotten us in this situation, This deal if it is not changed to much deeper real spending cuts or at least holding spending to the current level, will gar-un-tee a default and economic colapse. The US budget is twice the size of the budgets less then 10 years ago, increasing the largest amounts and precentages in the last 3 years. Current deficeits three times the size of the largest deficeit passed by the Republicain Congress and signed by President Bush, twice the size of the deficeit passed by the Democrat Congress and signed by President Bush. We're way over spending, and it will come along and bite us in the rear end.... this deal insures that and insure it will be worse in the future then if we got it right now, which would have been worse then if we had gotten it in 2008.
