You could borrow my brothers cat... she's caught several hummingbirds, a truly impressive feat and the only cat I've ever heard of with the skill.

Apparently her technique is to wait in the grass under the feeder or flowers until the hummingbirds roost to drink... then she grabs em before they can zoom off.

BTW... hummingbirds can be very agressive and can kill birds much larger than they are. They basically run into them using their beaks and skewer them... like a self powered dart.
