Ok, assume that you installed Firefox to the default folder, C:\Program Files\Firefox . So, your shortcut's location will look like this:
"C:\Program Files\Firefox\firefox.exe"
including the quotes. Put the /prefetch:1 (no spaces) on the end of it, so it looks like this:
"C:\Program Files\Firefox\firefox.exe" /prefetch:1
Note that the /prefetch:1 goes outside the quotes, not inside.
