Sounds to me like you installed the "Templates" custom upgrade thingy. I installed them too and Edwin just reached the stage where he could do the Vampire transformation. He's holding out for the Lich transformation though
Anyway where did I get those... I dunno. Probably Baldurdash or TeamBG. Search for "Custom Templates". I'm looking forward to the "Half-Celestial" for my Lawful Good Sorceror.
