Didn't see the Afghanies sending aid to us on 9/11 Of course the terrorists were just using afghanistan as a base and were not really from there...but I think its still a fair comparison. The Taliban DID aid Al-queda and umm we do send food to Afghanistan. Just because the mainstream press left the country doesnt mean all the Americans did.
