This is kinda America specific, but could be extrapolated to the politicians of other countries as well.

Anyway .... the 80's had Bill n Opus - they didn't get too much turn out, but they had cool campain Tshirts.

I was hoping that Calvin n Hobbes would have run in the '90s, but Bill Waterson stopped producing them.

I would like to see Tigger and Pooh get a turn out this decade. Anyone have any other ideas?

I think it would be the biggest lark, and best protest that could ever be stagged. It's even better than electing a corpse to the Senate. It would let those politicos just what we really think of them - to not choose any of them.

I mean really, it seems that there two types of DemoRepublicrats. "Centrists" that have no real position beyond the opinions of their campain funding sources. And "Extremists" ("left" or "right") that would better serve the county by running for the Darwin Awards, not public office.

I post this cuz I've seen in other threads opinions on who has the "right" to vote. And didn't want to hijack the thread. One metric often ignored in exit polls is the % of non voters. A lot of people think that if you don't vote, you have no right to complain. But showing the politicos just how few they really represent should be a wake up call for them. Anyway, Jefferson was right when, observing Madison's and Hamilton's power jockeying, he stated that political parties would be the ruin of the country. Politicians are supposed to represent their constituants, not "the party line".

Anyway, interested in all opinions ....
