I remember DMing for friends and in a party of 6, 5 were dead by the time the Lich dropped. This was LONG before D&D video type games were even a thought. Gary Gygax must be laughing at BG2 with its wimpy Lichs
If the game were played according to D&D rules they wouldnt have been able to put a Lich in BG2.
