Not to add anything here (I can't) but I have been playing with Vit always getting the max (+3) bonus for the first 7 or so levels as all my char. need HP, as much as they can get

But depending on my profession, the other 3 points either go to Str (for figher class) or Piety for Spell Points. On the rare case I also try to take the lowest speed and bump it up to make my whole group move faster but this varies.

I will anxiously await your findings. I didn't look but hopefully you are on the East coast I when I get home from work can benefit immediately from all your hard work
