Ah but Neb, 2+2 always equals 4 in our language, and it still equals 4 in that system it's just that their number that represents IIII is called and pronounced "ten."
It still equals the same value, that's like saying it doesn't equal the same in a different language, just because it's a different word for it.
If you told them to pint out the amount of marks the sum of the figures represents it would still have the same value, which in our system equals 4.
