So Far it is playing just fine for me. I have the latest patch and make sure I turn off my virus scanner. I have nothing else running in the backround while I play.
Could that be the trouble for some of you? Sounds like your running low on operating memory.

256meg SDRAM
64meg GeForce2
have about 48 gig free on my drive.
