I personally believe that the BG series in general are hands down the best games i have ever played. Sure, they might not be perfect, but they are nonetheless kings of the crpg world.
the only problem that has kind of bugged me ever since the beginning is the lack of options when it comes to the appearance of the paper doll and the onscreen character. i think that they should have put a little more time into adding many more appearance options, and maybe a few more normal looking hair colors as opposed to ugly bright blue and strange colors like that. they should have also added other options like giving your guy a beard, maybe a few different facial features....stuff like that.
if these things were implemented, i know that BG's lasting appeal would be doubled for me.
